6 Series Portable Borehole Loggers

This is a high performance logger with an unmatched combination of features:
- Runs geophysical logs in boreholes to 1000 meters in depth utilizing 0.125” single conductor armored logging cable.
- Compact integrated design. Operates directly from 12Vdc source and does not require a generator or inverter.
- Automatic cable level wind. Typically spools the entire length of the cable without requiring adjustments or other corrections. All critical mechanical elements are covered and protected from moisture and abrasive mud, dirt and dust
- Mechanical disc brake. In conjunction with an integral one way clutch, the brake ensures that the winch cannot reverse direction or creep backwards. The brake also ensures that probe descent is always controlled and the winch drum is secured and cannot rotate during transport.
- Completely sealed, noise free mercury wetted slip rings.
- Constructed entirely of corrosion resistant materials. All appropriate surfaces are anodized or powdercoated.
- Standard GOI type cablehead.
- Logging cable options allowing both geophysical well logs and high resolution borehole video surveys to depths of 500 meters from the same compact logger.
