1 Series Portable Borehole Loggers
A completely selt contained, truly portable, digital, state-of-the-art, manually cranked logger, the 1 Series is capable of running every logging tool offered by Delta Epsilon. The 1 Series sets a new standard for value, refined simplicity and performance in a small portable borehole logging system.
- Runs geophysical logs in boreholes up to 250 meters in depth utilizing 0.250" four conductor lightweight insulated logging cable.
- Powered by four integral standard D cell batteries. Typical operating time with a combination gamma and electric logging probe is approximately 80 hours. Alternatively, the 1 SERIES may also be powered from any external 12 Vdc source.
- Requires no inverter, generator, external battery or connecting cables.
- Integrated uphole power, digital depth and speed display and USB compatible PC interface.
- Mechanical disc brake. In conjunction with an integral one way clutch, the brake ensures that the winch cannot reverse direction or creep backwards. The brake also ensures that probe descent is always controlled and the winch drum is secured and cannot rotate during transport.
- Completely sealed noise-free mercury wetted slip rings.
- Lightweight design constructed entirely of corrosion- resistant materials. All appropriate surfaces are anodized or powdercoated.
- The measuring wheel and shaft encoder are an integral part of the well head tripod and are connected to the logger with a cable featuring molded waterproof connectors.
- Standard GOI type cablehead.
Beautifully, elegantly simple. The 1 Series Borehole logging System comprises a platform of unique versatility designed to offer a comprehensive logging capability in a small, refined, economical borehole logger.
